Strokes Drills 402 (6-9 years old)
Prerequisites
In order to participate in the Stroke Drills 402 class, Coach Jim or Heather must have graduated your child from Advanced Swim Strokes 302, awarding them a medal for swimming all four competitive strokes (Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke & Freestyle for the length of the pool (30 feet).
If your child is a new student coming from another program, he/she must be able to swim all four competitive strokes (Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke & Freestyle for the length of the pool (30 feet).
Description
In "Stroke Drills 402,” your child will learn advanced techniques and how to refine his/her strokes in order to be more efficient in the water. In this course, your child will learn and practice the following stroke drills and more:

- Butterfly Drills such as Body Dolphin, Side Body Dolphin, Back Body Dolphin, Single Arm Butterfly, Single, Single, Double Butterfly, 3 Kicks and a Stroke Butterfly drill and more.
- Backstroke Drills such as Shoulder Roll Drill, Half-recovery drill, 1/4, 1/2 full Backstroke Drill, Single Arm Backstroke Drill, Side-Back-Side Backstroke Drill, and more!
- Breaststroke Drills such as the Traditional Kick with the Board, Wave Head Breaststroke Kick Drill, Heel Touch Kick on the back Drill, Breaststroke Arms, Freestyle Kicks Drill, Two Kicks and a Stroke, and more!
- Freestyle Drills such as Flutter Kick on the Side, Six Kicks on the Side and Catch up, Shark Fin Drill, Popov Drill, Single Arm Freestyle, and more!
Coach Jim Reiser is the only coach for this class. When coaching his USA club team, Team Carolina, Coach Reiser led them to back-to-back state championships, produced multiple state record holders, as well as 20 Nationally-ranked swimmers!
