How qualified are the instructors?
The Swim Lessons Company staff is second to none. Every instructor uses our state-of-the-art curriculum of lessons, teaching techniques, activities, and drills that have not only taught thousands of children to swim, but have also jump-started the careers of many elite competitive swimmers who have earned both all-state and national rankings.
To ensure quality control, every teacher is personally trained by our company's owner and founder Jim Reiser, who trains the entire staff using the Swim Lessons University Certification system. USA Head Women's Olympic Coach Richard Quick has even endorsed Jim Reiser's methods. In addition, every teacher is regularly evaluated and held accountable for the quality of our classes.
The Swim Lessons Company a Champion Club member of the United States Swim School Association and each of our instructors own Red Cross Certification in Lifeguard Training, First Aid, and CPR. Lastly, all of our instructors are thoroughly screened and SLED background checks are administered.

We promise that throughout your enrollment with us, we will endeavor to meet the high standards you expect of The Swim Lessons Company. However, should anything not be to your satisfaction, please do not hesitate to tell us. Just call our office and ask for Jim Reiser, the company’s founder and C.E.O., who will make every effort to put things right, as you are not expected to pay for unsatisfactory service.

It is required that you report any problems immediately. Any situation more than 7 days old is considered expired and ineligible for refund. In addition, if our attendance records indicate that you continued to participate in classes after a problem arose, and before calling our office, those services are determined satisfactory.
What if there's bad weather?
In the case of inclement weather, we announce all cancellations immediately on the RainedOut site. For information on how to signup to get text message and email notification of cancellations, see our Makeup Schedule page. In the summer we use Fridays to make-up classes if classes are cancelled. During the fall, winter, and spring sessions we will schedule make-ups at the end of the session. Specific make-up schedules will be posted on the website under the "Cancellation" button.
How can I sign up?
Great news! No waiting in lines and you don't have to wait on someone to return your call. You can sign up NOW on-line! Registration on-line is as easy as 1-2-3. All classes and locations are listed under "On-line Registration" and class availability/openings are current. Once you complete the registration process and submit payment via credit card/debit card, your child will be simultaneously added to our roster providing space allows. (Note: There is a $10.00 cancellation fee for any cancellations made less than 2 weeks from the course start date. There is a $25.00 cancellation fee for any withdrawal made within one week from the course start date).
How much does it cost?
The participant's fee varies session to session, depending on the session length and the number of lesson offered during the session. Dates and times of sessions can be found under the "On-line Registration" button which is under "Register Now" on the Swim School home page. You can register during a session if there is still availability and your fee will be automatically pro-rated.. Level One students must have a Safety Seal Swim Trainer (required floatation device). They should be purchased through our on-line store. Infant-toddler students are required to wear a "Reusable" Swim Diaper.
